Meet Our Staff

Dina Malo, P.T. Office Manager
Dina Malo has been with SBR for 10 years. She has 5 years experience in NICU, and 5 years experience in Neurological Rehab. She worked in Saudi Arabia for a short time. Dina is married and lives in Redondo Beach with her husband and son. Her hobbies and interests include spending time with her family, cooking, and rooting for the Lakers.

Eli English, PT, DPT
Eli received his undergraduate education at UC Irvine where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. He then went on to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Mount St. Mary’s College. His experience is in the outpatient orthopedic setting as well as neuro-rehab and pool therapy. He has lived in many different areas of Los Angeles but the South Bay is his favorite.

Christine Lawson PT, DPT
Christine has been with SBR since 2015. She did her undergraduate education at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, receiving a BS in Kinesiology. She then went on to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at USC in 2008. She loves working in the outpatient setting and has received many certifications, including applied functional science, visceral manipulation, KT tape, concussions, and Pilates for PT. Christine enjoys working with patients of all ages and activity levels. In her spare time, she loves yoga, going to the beach, travel, and watching USC, SF Giants, and the 49ers play!

Sean Schoonover PT, DPT
Sean received his undergraduate degree in History at La Sierra University in Riverside, CA. He then went on to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy with academic honors at Loma Linda University. His experience is in the outpatient orthopedic setting as well as in inpatient acute and skilled nursing. He is originally from Northern California, growing up in the foothills beneath Lake Tahoe. His hobbies include hiking, playing basketball, travelling, and watching sports. Sean loves living in the South Bay and is an avid southern California sports fan with the Rams, Lakers, and Dodgers being his favorite teams to cheer for.

Jayme Barr PT, DPT
Jayme is a South Bay Native! She first received her undergraduate degree in Drama at UC Irvine in Irvine, CA and went on to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Chapman University. Jayme is an experienced therapist in outpatient orthopedics, aquatic therapy, inpatient acute, skilled nursing, assisted living, and home health. She loves working with orthopedic patients, especially young dancers and athletes. She is also passionate about rehabilitating neurological diagnoses such as Parkinson's, stroke and other balance and gait impairments. Outside of the clinic, her hobbies include dance, theater, weight lifting, and traveling.
